Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon


The Charge

Since 2015, The Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon has utilized the services of Gallagher Sports to secure marketing partners for one of the longest running marathons in the United States.


Strategic Solution

Understanding the importance of the Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon to the Northeast Ohio community, Gallagher Sports implemented a strategy of focusing on national or regional brands which had strong foundations in Greater Cleveland.  Additionally multi-year agreements were structured in order to allow for the partnerships to continue to evolve over time, while affording the event with more predictable revenue which could be re-invested into continually improving the race for participants and spectators.


The Results

Each year of the relationship,  The Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon has increased both the number of partners and invested support.  Notably, those partners are a mix of local brands which call Cleveland home, and national brands which recognize the power of the event.
